A great day

Its so good to get away from my desk every so often just because I spend so much bloody time behind it. I was at Southwell on Friday with my significant other and two other people and the weather was lovely. Southwell is far from being an Ascot or a York but then again it has no pretences to be.

I had a good day in other ways as well as a successful lay on the exchanges meant a good profitable day all round. The funny part of it all was my missus totally fluking a 33/1 winner in the opening race. She wont believe me when I tell her that these horses actually win at rate significantly higher than 33/1.

Well anyway, I will be off again tomorrow until the end of the week mixing more business with pleasure but then again it is summer time and you have to grab it while you can in this country. I have agreed with my sponsor Pokerheaven to do a 500 euro bankroll challenge where I will be attempting to build a very significant bankroll starting with a mere 500 euros and playing two tables at 1-2 limit holdem.
