Changes in the wind

Starting on the 1st Feb, I will be having a change of direction with my poker. I am being sponsored by PokerHeaven (www.pokerheaven.com) and will be playing all of my poker exclusively on that site from now on.

Although my non poker playing workload seems to be building and building so just how much time I will have for playing poker is anyones guess. This is a good step for me as association with such a big site will present many challenges. Speaking of challenges, the 100K challenge will be going into hibernation on the final day of this month and for how long I cannot say.

I had a couple of smallish wins recently and my bankroll now stands at just under 10k at $9891!!

Got wind through the grapevine recently of a very interesting event on Betfair where some players took advantage of a glitch in the software on their 6 man SNG’s. Apparently, if everyone went all in on the very first hand then the five losing players ALL got paid the second place prize money.

I know just how much Betfair lost but they have taken serious steps to get the money back…..its never dull in the poker world.

Had a couple of cracking sessions in PLO winning just over $4000 although the two weeks after xmas have not been mega. So I will be starting out on my own stairway to Heaven next month, or in my case…..PokerHeaven……see you there.
