Back with a bang

Well Hi again everyone, its really great to be back and kicking off 2008 feeling fit again after over two weeks of being ill. Although I have spoken to so many people who have also been ill over the festive period that I obviously was not on my own.

For the record, I had food poisoning with a bad head cold on top of that. But I am over it now. A couple of good wins and the latest rakeback payment has fast forwarded the bankroll to a very nice $7914!!

I have been playing exclusively at the 2-4 level and been doing very well on the whole but even taking into account the increased stakes, I am not likely to make the 100k target at this rate as I am now into month 4. But I will have to switch sites to continue this challenge as there is barely any action at 5-10 where I am now.

My projection for 12 months based on hourly rate and how I have been doing at 2-4 and presuming that I dont dip out with a bad run is to finish at around the 40-45K mark….still way short so I am going to have to move up at least once more if not more.

That will bring increased risks although it is nice to not have the £3500 monkey on my back of the prop bets anymore…..that was not a smart move in hindsight. So my plan is to get to 10k and then switch sites and levels and start playing at 5-10 and see what happens there for a while.

Just looking out of my window as I am typing this out and it is snowing….I love snow and it is even better when you dont have to go out of the house……its good to be back.
