A good Idea…perhaps!

A reader of www.pokersharkpool.com came up with a suggestion regarding my £1000 bet with the $10,000 challenge which I appear to be wimping out of at this stage…LOL.

He said that if I could not motivate myself to play in the freerolls and micro limits, why not up the scale and try to turn $10k into $100k? Interesting suggestion but the problem with this is that I have already done that. In fact I have turned far less than $10k into far more than $100k over the past 5 years of online poker so the challenge would be meaningless to me.

Plus, the point of the exercise is to prove that I can discipline myself at the lower levels as turning $0 into $10,000 is very much achievable providing that you have the desired technique to handle the differences in the various levels. Also you need to do this in NL and not Limit as the rake in micro and small stakes limit hold’em will kill you.

Possible though that if you could manage to break even multi-tabling numerous micro limit games then a good rakeback deal might just do the trick although I would not like to say for sure as I have never tried it out. But at the moment I am still trying to claw back my lost earnings due to being inactive for so long.

By the way, just like to say thankyou to the forum users at www.thehendonmob.com for visiting the site and commenting and e-mailing me about various matters, thanks for your support.

Have a good weekend

The Dean
