First off, just like to apologise for not posting recently. I have just bought a house that is resembling a building site that is taking up all my time at the moment. It is in a beautiful spot with good views of the Nth Yorkshire moors. So posts may be at a premium.
I dont like to post things that are off the beaten track but the latest round of Dean Bashing has been silly. Blatantly these are people with issues and then a few people who have jumped on the bandwagon who basically do not have the capability to think for themselves.
Trust me, they have ripped into everything and anything, even my latest post on here quoting $5000 for Blackjack training. What these idiots dont realise is the amount of time that I would have to take out to do this. That time equals money and that money needs to be replaced. I also get so many e-mails every week regarding coaching (something I havent done in ages) that sometimes I need a bloody PA. So that fee is designed to put people off e-mailing me as I reply to all e-mails and doing that equals time and there is only so much of it.
But all this crap is coming from a tiny number of people who have ulterior motives. Basically they are pissed that a virtual unknown has had deals with respected poker sites and they havent. In a nut shell that is it despite how they want to white wash it, they just cannot say it so they feel pissed off, they need to attack and so they look for a reason……any reason what they can find.
It was the same with the crap handed out to Vicky C, on the surface it seems like they are questioning her poker ability and knowledge……thats just the cover. The reality is that they are mindless, sexist, chauvanistic men who have problems with women being more successful than them……it is jealousy from a small number of people who cannot disguise their true feelings.
Some geezer called “Greekstein” on the forum claims to not have an agenda or underlying motives and then says that when he gets some spare time that he will go through my articles to find something that is wrong…..WTF!!!!
Do these people not see themselves, can they really not think beyond the first level and look at how they look to others? To doubt what I know and do is basically not just showing me disrespect but disrespect to the countless numbers of highly intelligent people who have chosen to publish my work. I have stopped writing for THM as of last week, I was on the verge of it anyway and I also sent an e-mail to 2+2 saying the same. I have been cutting back my writing work in recent months as it was starting to get a bit much.
But this shit about how I have got to show screen names or graphs…….WHAT! These people need to get seriously real, no one does this unless it is very much in their financial interests to do so. I was trying desperately to get to be a Full Tilt Poker Red Pro for 2 years and sent them several resumes. I reckon that based on how much I write, my games would have been some of the most closely watched on the site……I didnt mind that……does that not tell these people something else.
Does the fact that the people at Stox Poker and Poker Swat who both wanted me to be a coach on their site tell people something. If it wasnt for my shit accent and droning voice then I would have done it, that and the camtasia software being a constant pain in the arse.
I have reasons for not divulging screen names, many reasons in fact. As for PT graphs, what the hell does that prove……are you seriously trying to tell me that these graphs cant be faked? I could have got one of these graphs faked no problem if I really wanted. Oh look……Carl Sampson is up a million this year…….bull. I am sure that I also could have got someone to let me use their name to show how I win six figures a year. But what I have made from poker/gambling since I started is my bloody business and no one elses. But what I was making playing online wasnt justifying the time well enough compared to other ventures.
Anyone can claim anything these days on the internet, jesus christ…….where were these people when I was talking on here about doing my nuts last year. What gets me about these so called tournament players is that most of them are either skint and havent got a buy-in or they are simply not making the game pay long term. Anyone can get some results at tournament poker if they played long enough……its not rocket science….its just a numbers game.
I have been playing poker and gambling for 20 years. If I had played 50 events per year for 20 years, thats a 1000 tournaments. My style is hyper aggressive which means that sooner or later I would have final tabled and took something down and more than once. So I then show 2 million in lifetime winnings and a couple of titles and suddenly naive people go ga ga just like some 12 year old girl does when she sees some young lad on pop idol.
You can win big at tournament poker by having balls and nerve, these are hardly rare qualities. Poker winnings and a Hendon Mob database entry doesnt neccessarily count for jack……bottom line counts……after these people have paid off their backers and whoever else they owe money to……probably some poor dude who they suckered into staking them. Seeing as there are countless greedy people looking to get into poker who cant play the game simply by backing someone then that isnt hard to do. I mean…..just how many of these “hotshots” are playing poker with their own money?? Poker is a damn easy game to play when the risk is someone elses. Its like business, are people who set up in business who then run up large debts and then go bust intentionally actually business people?
I suppose technically they are but they sure as hell aint skilled business people. Its the same with poker, people can make money out of tournament poker by getting some other poor sod to take the risk. Tournament players have it lucky, variance is their friend, they can get to hide being mediocre for years and still point to those pick ups that they had to get the next mug to stake them.
But people see these lifetime “earnings” and think it means something. The Poker Show contacted me yesterday to see if I wanted to “defend” myself…….defend myself from what??? The rantings of a few mindless people who are either trying to make a name or because they have issues. Some people have said that these are “named” players……if they mean that they have tournament results and have a database entry then they may be right…….but anybody can do that. If I had played tournament poker as long as some of these dudes then I swear to god that I would have taken down a big title by now.
Do the people at the Poker Show seriously think that anyhting is going to change by me going on that program. There will always be people who will doubt what I say simply because they have taken a certain stance and they dont want to be proved wrong…..no one wants to be wrong, thats human bature. So me going on the Poker Show where I would have basically ended up not only losing my cool (which isnt hard for me to do) but also probably lookd a fool doing it isnt on my agenda…….what…..just so people can be entertained at my expense and the shows producers can have a great show.
Although I swear to god that there may be a book in this somewhere, maybe I should have gone on there to talk about my book….. and then written it 
But sod it……dont have the time for anything these days and if I cant find the time to write a 500 word article for THM then I sure as hell cannot find the time to write a 100k word book. Maybe forums just aint for me, I havent been back on the forum except to answer a few PM’s and wont be going back…..I aint kidding…..I am sick of their clicky ness…..if you are not in then you are very much out and I was very much on the out…….I dont think that I ever fitted in from day one.
But if these people think that they are hurting me then that had better think again…… I am angry and these people can go kiss my ass to be quite frank.
