Some good news and some bad news today regarding the Pro Poker Challenge…….well actually there isnt any really bad news. The bad news is that I am struggling to put in the number of hours that I promised I would at the start of the month. I was aiming for about 100 but it looks as though 60 will be the real figure….try harder next month.

Anyway thats the bad news out of the way, time for the good news and there is lots of it. Played a 1hr 10 min session yesterday five tabling NL50 and won $27. I am now infront by $579 this month over 7828 hands. Actually this is shaping up to mean that I will play about 25k hands this month which is only 5k short of the 30k that I originally intended.

But more good news……yesterdays session was brilliant because it looks like (touch wood) that I have finished the system and I am now happy with my play around the blinds. I have been thinking for some time that I really ought to start experimenting with this at different times of the day. There isnt enough action at NL50 during the main times that I can play.

I would ideally like to play at say midnight or in the very early morning GMT. I have managed to convince someone who I know to try this out starting next month and they certainly can play at different times of the day. This served two purposes, firstly it gets the sample size to a meaningful level faster and secondly, it starts me down the road of trying to articulate what I have done and pass that knowledge onto someone else…….that will be my main test between now and the end of the month.

So fingers crosses, the system is done or now very close to it. But maybe it is one of those things that needs constant tweeking…….because of this I may actually run an update/advisory service after I start to distribute this…….but thats for the future.

anyway……see you soon
