Regular viewers to Pokersharkpool will have noticed a slight change today with the arrival of a section that goes direct to a betting exchange website called Lay The Odds. I have long since had an affinity with betting exchanges and sports betting so this was a natural step for us. Plus, there were pieces of the site that could be improved and made far more interesting.
So this is a positive step for us and should make Pokersharkpool better in the future. While one era for Pokersharkpool begins….another ends. I will no longer be coaching players as from today, the reason being several fold but the main one is an overall lack of time on my part as I fully intend to be working with my sponsor in an even greater capacity from now on.
Speaking of sponsors, I played the 250k event on Cake Poker last night which had a whopping 360k in total prize money. Around 1200 players played and the starting stacks were 10k and the blinds increased every fifteen minutes. With 150 players getting paid and many many bad players around due to the high number of satellite entries then the chances to get a big stack early were plentiful…….did I manage it…….no…..out after fifty minutes and my luck rating was zero.
I seriously recommend playing this tournament at the end of each month and if you can get your fair share of luck then you can win big in this event.
Speaking of winning big, will be playing the 25-50 again tonight, same game, different set up but this time I have several backers to ease the burden of losing. Will keep you informed of the results daily…..wish me luck.
