Well its official, I now have not played any poker for two whole months and that I think is my record since I started playing online in around 2000 ish. The transformation in my week has been nothing short of remarkable. I guess “The Dean” has never been so well known 
In fact apart from sporting events, I couldn’t even tell you the last time that I watched TV…..oh…..watched Stanley Kubricks “Full Metal Jacket” on Cable last week as I hadn’t seen it in years.
As of today I will be making my blog a daily one again, all of my projects (well some of them) have been completed. Finished the building work and also my new rakeback site although I need to find time to promote the damn thing.
My problem is that I have too many projects on the go at once. I guess that I am like a child who loses interest in one toy as soon as they are given another. Don’t know if anyone watched Derren Brown and the roulette bet last week. I missed it but managed to watch a re-run.
A few things didn’t add up, I don’t know where he managed to find a high profile wheel because I was under the impression that all these had been taken out of Casinos. If I find out where that wheel is then I am seriously digging my passport out because that was precisely the wheel that I talked about in Killer Roulette.
The ball diameter, wheel composition, ball composition, rotor speed……all were absolutely perfect for visual prediction. But I tell you what, it doesn’t take a year to be able to read the spin…..not on those wheels.
Also I would like to know how he could be certain that someone who he stopped in the street would have 5k in disposable cash. And another thing, the first reaction when someone walks up to you in the street and waves their hand in front of your face is to be defensive and not slip into a trance.
Also, why did they not reveal the casino afterwards……I mean I can understand them not doing so beforehand because of probable casino counter measures but not divulging it afterwards just didn’t make sense (unless he was planning to go back at some stage).
However, all of the methods that the guy from the “Real Hustle” was telling him were spot on and these are the basics of visual prediction. Although I wasn’t sure about the motorway thing and using a squash court to try and predict a bouncing roulette ball.
I would like him to tell me how a squash ball and a roulette ball both of which have totally different compositions can react the same. Also how a squash court floor can mimic the response in terms of bounce that he would get from a roulette wheel.
When you also factor in that the wheel has metal ball deflectors then these are two totally different enviroments and the results from one cannot in any way be used to predict the other……still made for an entertaining show but that is what you need to believe that it is……entertainment.
