The Dean is now taking enquiries from all interested parties regarding my new Poker Pro System with full back up service and anyone who is interested in this should contact me at Carl@Pokerquest.f9.co.uk to register their interest.

After yesterdays horror show in the Poker Pro Challenge where I tilted over $70 away, I managed to get my head in gear and win $12 of that back. The results for the month of April are as follows,

WON:     $887 (£600)

HANDS:  14,802

HOURS:   40

HOURLY RATE:  $22.17 (£15)

BB/100 RATE:    12bb/100

On the whole I am very happy with April, my hours played was lower than I had planned as was the number of hands but things are continually getting in the way of my progress. Yesterdays sillyness is hopefully out of my system. But I started April wasting a lot of time playing NL20 which is too low and simply doesnt generate enough rakeback.

But 12bb/100 is a fantastic earn rate and yesterday I actually found another flaw, well its more of a personal flaw but it stems from the fact that I am not a natural multi-tabler. I have watched a couple of videos recently from experienced multi-tablers and they dont seem to have a problem with deliberately timing out on other tables if they have a big decision ot make on a certain table.

I should start slowing down at critical moments and I am simply firing away on auto-pilot. I know that this is costing me money and will be something that I will definitely look to correct in May. But yesterday really pissed me off, its not the amount……but the amount of work that amount represents. That $70 represents 3 full hours work and its my own stupid fault. But it is for this reason that I advocate having a stop loss limit because tilt can happen to anyone at anytime.

But I also had another idea yesterday and the Dwan vs Antonius match gave it to me. A lot of people are losing interest in this match simply because it is going on for too long. I am already struggling mentally with this challenge and its only been a few weeks. I think therefore that I am going to re-set the figures and start from scratch in May.

But I will be using a slightly different system anyway to the one that I was using a month ago as I have made changes since then. But all in all it was a very successful April and I am proud of it……even yesterday gave me a kick in the pants that I needed.
