Pokersharkpool will have a new look shortly as we are branching off into sports betting and will have a section that is linked to a brilliant website called Lay The Odds on the home page. Sports betting has long since been a passion of mine so this should be a great step forward for the site.
On the poker front, I have been doing some work on my NLHE game recently and I have detected several flaws. What this means is that I will be going back into playing the 25-50 game with renewed confidence next month. I have been ill as well but that hardly accounts for six months of bad results. But all is not lost…..I have been experimenting with playing hit and run tactics at heads up NLHE this week and the results have shown an improvement.
Couple that with my new and hopefully improved PLO game and things are starting to look up. For 2009 then I may have to bite the bullit and drop down some levels and that would be quite humiliating to be honest but if its good enough for Brian Townsend then it sure as hell is good enough for me. I need to start being and acting professional again because it has been a while since my “A” game has been in town.
December should be a busy month and so should 2009 but thats just how I like it.
