FULL TILT POKER ROOM REVIEW

Summary

Full Tilt Poker has one of the cleanest designs around. Their software undertook a major reconstruction and has a very nice look to it. The bonus is very high and is reasonable to release. Player points are required to release bonus money but the points can then be used in the shop for gifts or poker freerolls. Poker pros play there under their real life names and can be found in the lobby that is colored in red.

Bonus at Full Tilt

The bonus at Full Tilt Poker is 100% up to $600 and doesn’t fluctuate too much. The incremental structure is used for releasing the bonus. Bonus money is released at 10% of what you initially deposited so if you deposited $600 it will be released in $60 increments until the total is given out.

The player points that are used to release the bonus can then be used for free rolls or shop gear. The shop doesn’t have a huge selection so we recommend using the bonus points on other things like freerolls.

Play the Pros

Full Tilt has a huge selection of poker pros. Just a few off the top of my head are Jennifer Harman, Mike Matusou, and Phil Ivey. Actually John Dagostino plays the most out of all of them. His stomping grounds are the $25/50 no limit tables.

To find where these poker pros are playing look in the lobby. You will see tables that are highlighted in a reddish color. Those are the tables the pros are playing at. When you click to view the table you will notice the poker pros have avatars to look exactly like them.

Features

The most obvious feature of Full Tilt is their unique avatars. There is a large database of avatars to choose from and they range from animal characters to strange looking people.

Tournament Selection

Tournaments at Full Tilt are surprisingly good. The site gets a lot of traffic so you do not have to sit around waiting to get seated at the tables. Sit and Go tournaments were a little disappointing because they only offer tourneys in the multiple of nine instead of the max ten. Poker pros will also play in the multi-table tournaments and there is usually an announcement made in the chat box if so.

WSOP Events

During the World Series of Poker Full Tilt offers a ton of qualifying events.  They also have a lot of freerolls to get into the World Series of Poker.  They gave away 100 seats this year and will likely rise next year. They are also one of the only sites to offer qualifiers for the $50,000 WSOP HORSE buy-in event.

Overall Summary

If Full Tilt had better Sit and Go tournament structures they might be considered in the top 3 internet poker rooms. There are no real features that this site lacks as they seem to have it all. The software also works on Macs. I highly recommend this site and consider it my top five favorites.
