The Dean is now taking enquiries from all interested parties regarding my new Poker Pro System with full back up service and anyone who is interested in this should contact me at Carl@Pokerquest.f9.co.uk to register their interest.
Played for 1hr 06 mins this morning in the Poker Pro Challenge and won $48. Actually that was a pretty good session based on the fact that I started 6 tabling and ended up playing only three as three of the tables broke up quite quickly. That tends to happen though in the early morning UK time.
I will probably end up playing only 15k hands this month which is half of what I intended to play. In the last post I mentioned about the number of consistent winning players getting smaller. What this means is that the better players are playing more tables so sometimes 50% or more of your table can be made up of +EV players.
This does not mean that you cannot win from them as players at the lower levels like NL50 make their money in different ways. My system while taking advantage of rakeback and other bonuses along with weak players also has the edge over many winning regulars as well. In fact I would go so far as to say that the winning regulars who earn rakeback pass a percentage of that across to me.
I would really love to give this thing a real go and really see how much I could really earn with this over a month. But I am just over $900 ahead this month and thats with a very weak rakeback payment of only $117 added. Played roughly 34 hours so far so my hourly rate is $26.58 this month which at todays dollar rate is over £18 per hour.
That kind of hourly rate would put any player in the top 1% of online earners according to the latest statistics which are showing as little as 6% of players making the game pay long term. Of those 6%, the mean average of the winning player would probably be something like a few thousand dollars a year. So to devise a system for a novice player that would make them better than 99% of the rest of the online world would be a fantastic achievement……reminds me……is there a nobel prize for poker??
So why are so few players who attempt to make money actually doing so? Well in my mind there are two reasons, the first reason is that the average player is more well informed so they are effectively better on average. Plus those that are better seem to be better in the same way and too many players are doing the same things…..The Vulture aims to correct that.
Anyway take care and see you soon
