The Dean is now taking enquiries from all interested parties regarding my new Poker Pro System with full back up service and anyone who is interested in this should contact me at Carl@Pokerquest.f9.co.uk to register their interest.

Played a 1hr session yesterday in the Poker Pro Challenge and won the princely sum of $2……still…..any result that breaks even is a good result given the rakeback. I only played four tables as well which also increases the chances of having a losing session.

But having losing sessions isnt really any big deal anyway as its the result over the sample size of hands that is crucial. But I had another session yesterday where my head wasnt right. I played back at a couple of blind stealers on dubious flop textures which cost me about $30. Had KK twice and an ace flopped and had to concede given the action.

Had three lots of top set in multi-way pots and no action……so an unlucky session intermingled with some bad play led to me only winning $2.

Not much happened yesterday apart from me getting into a heated discussion on Blonde Poker…..well actually it went beyond discussion and ended with me having to defend myself from personal attacks from people who blatantly have issues. These people seem to think that I have a problem with criticism…..I dont……I have a problem with personal attacks from people who have never tried to understand my situation or my history.

Sometimes I wish that I had never written my book on roulette. The number of people who have mentioned that I was “flogging some system” are numerous. That book is not about systems, in fact there is an entire chapter telling how systems are basically nothing but junk. But that book is about things like cheating, staff collusion, biased wheels and how to detect them and wheel tracking. It amazes me when people can make judgements when never having read a book. After ten years working in that industry and another five years outside it then I know what the hell I am talking about.

Dont get me wrong…..I have worked very hard to increase my online profile as have my partners and that it seems gets up certain peoples backs. If they only stopped and thought for a second that I am not actually claiming to be ANYTHING…..it is them that are assuming certain things. I write about things or events that I have either done personally or am in contact with and add a little for dramatic effect.

Some idiot on that forum even questioned if I was qualified to coach……I have never heard a more idiotic statement in all my life. Just WHAT the hell qualifies someone to coach……because if you can answer that quickly then you obviously dont understand the full complexity of the problem. Is winning money the best qualification to coach……NO…..otherwise Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan would automatically be the best coaches.

Ronaldo and Rooney would automatically become top managers…..it doesnt quite work like that in the real world. The passing on of information that is pertinent to a players own skill level means being in sync with that players mindset…….anyone who thinks that its simply a case of saying……”well I have won $400k online doing this so simply do what I do” is seriously missing the boat.

Well do you know what…….if I get up certain peoples backs then that is their problem. I will no longer be writing for Blonde Poker after a discussion with Richard Prew this morning where I basically gave him an out to sever things in the best interests of the majority.

Getting up peoples backs just gives me even more incentive to carry on working and trying hard and improving my game as well as the games of others…….anyway thats out of my system and rant over……intent on playing another session today but I am finding that I may need to start preparing what I am going to write earlier than normal.

Anyway……take care and see you soon
