Played a losing session yesterday where I lost $23 with the Vulture. Still had a winning day though as my first session won $43. I had KK outflopped and also had A-2 from the BB in an unraised pot against A-5 on a A-5-2 flop which cost be some money obviously.
But yet the strange thing was that I lost the absolute minimum on that hand and I just felt an A-5 out there……it was weird…..not sure if I can put that read into any system. Also lost out on a couple of aggressive plays and also with a QQ where I just felt that I hade been outflopped despite having an overpair. Its strange now but I can really feel these players out and is why losses are at an absolute minimum.
It also felt that I was a little too loose at times yesterday, I wasnt over doing it but I just felt that I could have tightened up slighly. You cannot judge marginal situations on one session but it probably cost me a bit of money although I did come close to stacking someone for $50 so the margins between winning and losing sessions are very fine.
But this system will definitely take longer than what I thought to complete as not playing in the 25-50 and concentrating on this is definitely costing me big time. So I am going to have to balance the two rather than me putting everything into this which will obviously take longer. But like I have said, my original date looks like being far too soon now but we will just have to wait and see.
Was analysing Poker Office data last night and I have luckily seen what I think is a huge flaw in my game whenever I play a certain reg with position. It is something that I dont want to go into but it is definitely costing me money. I also want to try out a new heads up hit and run system as well called “The Hammer” and have been playing a few sessions lately without letting on and won over $3000 with it in increments of $200-$300 dollars.
But the variance and risk is high so not overly sure how well this would catch on with the masses. Anyway, take care and see you soon.
