I decided last night to make a start on getting my system down into word form sooner rather than later and intend to start doing so on the 1st May. There are some things that I just know dont need changing so I may as well start sooner. What this means is that May will be one hell of an intensive month and I am putting everything to one side for this and I do mean everything.
After this month I wont even be playing the 25-50 game and have told my partner so as of yesterday. Everything will be geared towards finalising my sample by playing more hours and getting this down into print so I can hopefully start to distribute this on the 1st June.
Speaking of the 25-50 game, played a session last night and lost about $1700, not much I could do about it. Played back at a short stacker with JJ from the BB and got four bet all-in…..had to call and they showed AK…..hits a king on the turn. Rest of the money went south attacking a BB who kept three betting me. He was a good reg and not the reason why I joined the game but as soon as my target left then so did I.
Once upon a time I would have stayed in the game but not these days. Anyway….will soon be WSOP time again and once again the question is will I be going? If I said to you that I couldnt find time/cant be bothered to get to the best cardroom in the country at DTD just forty miles away then that should answer the question.
If I played a tournament then I would play to win it and not to place, that kind of aggression would likely see me eliminated on the first day and I aint flying thousands of miles for that. My Pro Poker Challenge is getting to be the most important thing that I have ever done. One more piece of news……I have decided to tell you what the system is called and I think it is very appropriate……THE VULTURE……it scavanges and feeds off poker site payments and the bodies of weak online NL50 players (OK that bit was for dramatic effect but I love the name).
