The Dean is now taking enquiries from all interested parties regarding my new Poker Pro System “The Vulture” and also my forthcoming six max system “The Jackal”, anyone who is interested in these should contact me at Carl@Pokerquest.f9.co.uk to register their interest.
Just played a 45 minute session with The Vulture and won exactly one dollar, but I was very pleased with the session because nothing really happened for me and it was perhaps the quietest session that I have had in ages. Because of the very low stakes that I am playing, I tend to try and force things in situations like these and have done numerous times in the past.
This has led to me certainly spewing money, but talking of spewing money……I think that I may need to make another alteration with how I am playing. Remember that I am not a natural multi-tabler and while I am making money playing more than four tables, looking back and my post flop play has been pretty poor in places and I have definitely been missing value both by not betting the correct amounts or in some cases not betting at all.
I have also been equally guilty of making sloppy calls on the river with pot odds even when I knew that I was beat. I must have lost several hundred dollars over the past few weeks doing this and it all adds up. But I guess that this means that I still have work to do. It also means that I could be playing better and getting better results if I played less tables and not more. More tables equals more rakeback but it also means more sloppy play so it is a double edged thing. I may have a full month actually playing more tables and then see how it compares to a full month only playing four tables.
But even then the sample size will not be conclusive anyway. So all in all it has been another good month so far with The Vulture and I am $224 ahead after just over 10 hours this month. Anyway…..see you soon and take care.
