I have been promising to answer some questions for a while so here goes and the first is from Andrew Reid who asks “what makes the system have lower variance”??
Q……. well Andrew it is basically sacrificing EV in some situations that are highly marginal or just plain marginal. I dont want to go into specifics at this stage but that is basically what it is. However, you can obviously only take this to a point as if you sacrifice too much EV then you are simply going to be a losing player. The Vulture tries to strike a balance with this and attempts to get a player into winning decent money without it dragging the player through the mill mentally.
I realise that this answer isnt all that much different to what I have already said but I really do not want to be giving too much away at this stage of play…….the walls have ears as they say and my blog is widely read these days.
Also there is a POSSIBILITY…….and I do stress the word…….POSSIBILITY…..that I may actually be letting this system go for a vastly reduced amount or possibly for free. I know that this sounds pretty amazing based on the fact that I have been saying that I am charging $99 for this but there are a few things in the wind this summer that may alter things somewhat. So dont take this as gospel as it may not happen but it is a possibility.
This summer will be a haven of activity what with the WSOP and everything but there are big things on the horizon for me and this may lead to this system coming out later than expected. Speaking of the system, I am having a few days off from playing it, I lost another $25 on Saturday through bad play and I think that I may have overdosed on small stakes play so I am taking a rest.
But if this thing gets delayed then I can only apologise to the people who have asked me when this will be ready. Anyway, see you soon and take care.
