Havent played anymore NL50 action in the Pro Poker Challenge since yesterday when I lost $22. Had two pieces of badluck yesterday, its raised by the UTG player and then min-raised by the player in the cut-off. Now I am suspecting not only a higher pair than my 10-10 but also that I could get caught in the middle of two raisers so I muck the hand.
The UTG raiser calls and the flop comes A-K-10, they both had AQ and ended up getting all-in……grrrrrrrr
Second one, folded to me on the button and I have AQ so I raise the pot……big blind calls. Flop comes A-Q-7 rainbow. They check and I make a 2/3 bet to make it look like a continuation bet with air. They min-raise me so I raise them back and they shove……I call…..they show…..77……grrrrrrrr
This month so far the VULTURE has won roughly $25 per hour over 31 actual hours of multi-tabling play. Actually I am very pleased with that figure for several reasons. Firstly because I have wasted a lot of time playing NL20…..secondly because I have not played at the best times of the day and so ended up playing less tables and thirdly……because for most of this month I had still not finalised the system.
So to get $25 per hour I think is remarkable and once again, I have not dropped more than 1 buy-in this month in about 12,000 hands so far. Actually, speaking of playing at the wrong times…..Cake Poker have merged with numerous sportsbooks recently and this could mean that the more profitable times of the day are in the late evening UK time to coincide with the US sports bettors who are dropping in to play a little poker. It also means that the Cake Poker network may just be the perfect place to do this.
Played another 10-20 NLHE session last night and lost $68. This may just be my last session of non NL50 that I play for about 2 months as May and June are going to be very hectic months……but I am looking forward to it immensely……see you soon.
