Being the overwhelming patriot that I am, I was left utter exhausted after watching the grand prix and what a finish that was. But to have another British world Champion and the youngest ever is fantastic. Hamilton has had no favours this season and has had to do it the hard way…..I am absolutely thrilled to bits tonight.
Best get my head back on the job though because I am playing in the 100k guaranteed event on Cake Poker tonight and after last weeks debacle I could do with a performance tonight but I am not going to make the same mistake again. I have since found out that the US delayed moving their clocks by a week and it threw me out but I should have checked.
Anyway what else is new…..I will be playing the £1000 + £60 main event at the DTD in Nottingham in the first week in December and cant wait. This is the Anniversary Cup and should actually start me off playing live events. Next year I will be playing at least six live events but what attracted me to the DTD tournament was the deep stack and 120 minute blind levels.
I am planning to play the GUKPT events next year and that is also something that I am really looking forward to. I have had some great sessions lately in the $25-$50 game and have recorded wins of around $25,000 last month…..probably means that I will lose it this month.
