I know that its early days to be saying this but I think that I may be very close to finalising my system of play for the challenge. I have been playing NL50 on Cake Poker yesterday and today and for the first time something felt right. I really think that I have been underestimating these players and this has led to me recycling money in them.
But the way that I have been playing has led to me trying to force things too much and this has knocked on into me feeling frustrated and then I have started playing badly. I am also going to start playing short and snappy one hour sessions and then quit the games. This should keep me fresh and focused for the entire month if I can build up my playing time in this way.
Had another good session today where I won about $85 in an hour which takes me to $1100 up but of course this doesnt count as it has all been preparation and testing until now. For those of you who are not aware of what I am trying to do, I am trying to devise a system of play that will be successful multi-tabling the NL50 games on Cake Poker and then move upto NL100 and then hopefully NL200.
I am not an experienced multi-tabler so this presents another problem but if I can overcome this then this will prove that anyone can make a four figure dollar sum every month playing poker from very little bankroll. You could basically start this with as little as $250 and with the sign up bonus on Cake along with their excellent rakeback payments then this figure may prove to be enough. I think that most people could find 25 hours a week if they really tried and I am convinced that a player could make $2000 a month with rakeback if they are using the right system and obviously have the correct mindset…..two things that I dont yet have……but I am getting there……wish me luck.
Played in the 25-50 game last night and lost $320, only logged on to play with a certain player who then proceeded to leave after ten minutes, I then did the proper thing and left the game as value wasnt there…..something I wouldnt have done last year.
