There are many things that I hate in life, in fact if I ever went into room 101 I would list things like not being punctual for appointments, rudeness and belittling others to name but a few. But I abolutely loathe there only being 24 hours in a day 
This may sound silly but I have so many projects that I want to do. I want to actively train some people up to play NL50 the way that I was doing with the Vulture but how can I manage that? I am not just talking about time because if time was the issue then I couldnt even manage that. I am also talking about being able to train someone up as well.
The thing is with poker that it totally defies the old adage “those who can do and those who cant teach”. I have had this labelled at me (because I write alot) countless times. In some cases this is true and is why this saying has the popularity that it has. But in many instances it is wrong and the field of poker is one such instance. You could be making $1000 a day playing online poker and you could tell a thousand poker players everything that you knew and all 1000 of them may not be able to replicate your success.
Why?…….numerous reasons……..tilt too easily……terrible money management……easily bored……impatient……scared to lose large amounts of money……cannot accept varaince……cant be bothered to table select……cannot get their head around software……cannot handle speed of multi-tabling……poor eyesight…….I could go on and on and on.
The fact is that poker knowledge is only one tiny facet of a multi-faceted problem. Supersystem was revolutionary but it hardly stopped Brunson from making many more millions after that now did it. And dont you think that Doyle KNEW this before he even wrote the book……of course he did.
Any field that requires more than just knowledge to perform well breaks the “those who can do and those who cant teach rule”. You can literally have your cake and eat it too in poker because those who you teach wont replicate what you have shown them anyway most of the time.
But some things can be easily replicated and is why I wont be talking about how I bet on sport for example. This is the type of thing where people write about it after the fact…..like I did with BJ.
I am starting to watch the games on Pokerloco more and more and I will be having a few projects on that site shortly. Will also be launching something else shortly too. I would really like to try 24 tabling NL50 for an entire month on different sites and networks just to see how I could cope and also to see if I can merge software from numerous sites, tried this a while back and failed. But I like the software on Pokerloco and think it derserves a shot……BUT WHERES THE BLOODY TIME……aaarrrrgggghhhhhhhÂ
