Well it is exactly three years since I first started to write about poker. Bluff Europe was my first ever jaunt into the world of the poker writer when I took over their “fish quiz” from John Vogel…..my how times have changed in just three years.
Now I currently write for five poker magazines and as many websites. To be honest, I actually enjoy it as much as what I do playing poker although I am referring to cash games here and you all know what I feel about those at this moment in time right.
But I am also enjoying working with my sponsor Cake Poker and I am certain that our relationship will be a long and productive one. But I am really excited to dip my beak into tournament poker again in the 100K and 250K events on Cake, this will be the shot in the arm that I have been seeking.
I want to feel the buzz of getting to a final table and playing for first place, this feeling will be far superior to cash games and I am certain of that. I can feel my cash game slowly deteriorating and I know that my mindset is not right at the moment.
But like a phoenix from the ashes, I will be back….born again…..and doing what I love…..but a bit different.
