This week has seen some changes down at Dean Den (thought that I would add a little for effect). I had a sneaking feeling last night that all wouldnt go well for Federer in the US Open final against Del Potro and laid him with the intention of backing him again in running as I was fairly sure that I would be able to get a better price at some stage.
I think that Fed is getting past his sell buy date when it comes to winning slams. That may sound odd considering that he has 15 to his name and had just won the French and Wimbledon. But would he have won the French had it not been for Nadal being injured, would he have won Wimbledon for the same reason?
When you consider that Roddick really should have beaten him in the final then it looks like his days of winning slams are numbered. He has owned the US Open so getting beat here by Del Potro is another sign. I know that Roddick is working with Larry Stefanki now and his game has come on in leaps and bounds.
But the Fed of old wouldnt have been taken to the brink at Wimbledon like he was this year. Not many players win slams over 30 and Fed is 28 if I remember correctly. He will be short come the Aussie Open and I will definitely be laying him at some stage.
Anyway…..back to poker……still been watching the NL50 and NL100 games on Pokerloco and to be honest, there really isnt a great deal to choose between these and the games on Cake Poker as far as I can see. i thought that they might be tougher as they allow the main sniffers like Poker Office so I kind of expected it to be tougher but the NL50 games dont seem any better.
Why am I ghosting NL50??? All will be revealed in the next few weeks but things are definitely changing for the better. Will be away for a bit next week so posts may be at a premium again……up to my eyeballs in buidling work
