Been out of action for a week what with Easter and catching up on some writing work but yesterdays session was better left unsaid as I dipped 40 big bets at $10-$20 limit followed by another $2000 at NL. Sad thing was that for the first hour of play, I don’t really think that my brain was in gear from the lay off.
This highlights what is rapidly becoming a repeating pattern whenever I take a bit of time off away from the game. It almost makes me not want to stop playing at all although you definitely need to recharge those batteries every now and again for sure.
Was doing some serious thinking over Easter about possibly going to the World Series this year if I could get a spare couple of weeks but will have to wait and see but to be honest, the games online are so fast and juicy that I sometimes wander why so many players bother at all, the fields are so big these days that even a top player can go a entire lifetime without winning a bracelet although the cash games are very juicy at that time of year.
So “The Dean” could be off to Vegas in a few weeks…..but then again don’t hold your breath!
