Well Project PP never made it off the launch pad like some doomed NASA 1950′s early space rocket. Actually thats not quite true as I am going ahead with two seemingly determined individuals who seem to have the right stuff although its early days yet and I think that myself and my "sorcerors apprentices" will give it a serious go.
To be honest, I have to take the blame for this…who else is there to blame??? I should have vetted the participants far more carefully and I didnt do it. Not because I couldnt be bothered but I just assumed that they would share my passion and enthusiasm for the game. But there is one more who I may be working with in a slightly different capacity so maybe all is not lost. But it would be remarkable if I managed to convert one of these players into a 25-50 NLHE player as I would imagine that the natural drop out alone would be far greater than 33%.
So I will keep you informed of how we go on in the coming weeks and months but getting between 6 and 10 people to give me the kind of motivation and committment that I was requiring seemed a bit much. I suppose what I should have done was at least make sure that they were winning players because your average winning player has at least been motivated enough to reach a stage where they can win and worked hard to get to that stage.
What I should have done was plan it better but thats me all over…..just rush right on in just like I did with the $100K challenge and then find that I didnt have the time to finish what I had started.
On a different note, I will shortly be writing for Blonde Poker which is something that I am pleased about. Anyway I will try and get more posts put up on this blog as I know that I have been slipping lately.
Catch you soon
