First few hours with The Hawk are showing $27/hour…..better than the Vulture but sample size is meaningless at this stage…..in fact I dont even know why I mentioned it. I played a great and very lucky heads up session last night and spun up some decent dosh.
Sat down at a heads up NL100 with $100 against a player with over $350 in front of him. I raised like crazy and took my stack to about $140 when he made a stand against my pocket kings and doubled me up. I then used my $280 or so and sat into a NL400 heads up about an hour later and ran that up to $600 before I left.
I almost called it a day but then sat in on a 5-10 heads up game against some shark who had over 2k. He had been sitting there ages waiting for some sucker to drop in. He probably thought that I was buying in with my last remaining $600 bucks and tilting. First hand I raise, he three bets and I four bet shove…..he times out.
Next hand……rinse and repeat and I am at around $700. Then he raises and I three bet. they four bet and I shove…..they think for a while and call me with Ad-Jd……I have Ac-Ks 
No help to us both and final board is something like 10-10-9-8-2 and my $100 is suddenly circa $1400 in about ninety minutes. Lucky……you bet……but these spin up sessions and aggro heads up sessions are really starting to pay off. Not even missing the $25-$50 anymore.
I usually avoid the top pros unless they are immersed in a 25-50 with a couple of value players but this was an exception. Enjoying my poker once again (except when I am doing $50 in grinding the damn Vulture)…..oh well…..life is life…..see you soon
