"This is a serious book, I like the way Carl writes with honesty and a great understanding of his subject. Limit Hold'em is (was) one of my weaker games, I play mostly PLO and NL and PL hold'em. I thought my limit game was OK until I read this book.
It specialises in middle limit hold'em and gets the reader thinking rather than just reading. Through various real life examples, you get to sample different thought processes that are worth more than the cover price.
It is a little specific - it won't teach you how to win NLH tournaments but if you play or want to play middle limit hold'em then I thoroughly recommend Secrets of Professional Limit Hold'em".
